Dr. Keith Morneau

Chairman of the Board

Dr. Morneau has over 30 years of higher education leadership experience. He currently is a Dean of a Cybersecurity program with 13 campuses and 2600 students that is growing 15-20% a year. He was on the team that started an Undergraduate school in the early 2000s. He has over 15 years experience as a daily communicant, sacristan, Knights of Columbus member, and Trail Life Scout Leader. His family was Family of the Year in 2023. Dr. Morneau is a husband and father to four homeschooled kids.

Matt Hassan

Vice Chairman

An executive-level leader with over 25 years of experience, Matthew brings strategic and transformational leadership to businesses and non-profits. He is a Chesterton aficionado and a founding executive board member of a Catholic historic preservation society. Matthew is a husband and a father of 8 children with more than twenty years’ experience as a parent-volunteer at Seton School, an independent Catholic school founded by Dr. Warren Carroll and Mrs. Anne Carroll of Christendom College.

Robert Earl

Treasurer

A dedicated leader and family man, Robert Earl's lifelong service to country started with 21 years of active duty in the US Army and continues today directing global intelligence IT investments for the Department of Defense. Alongside his wife Tammy, Robert is raising seven daughters; they are active in the Catholic Church and he serves in the Knights of Columbus. Robert supports Tammy's homeschooling efforts by coaching cross-country and teaching German.

Fr. Charles Smith

Spiritual Advisor

Father Smith's journey to the priesthood took him from Florida to Virginia, where he attended diocesan Catholic schools, including Holy Spirit, St. Michael's, and O'Connell High School. He continued his education at George Mason University, earning a degree in International Studies in 1987. For the next twelve years, he worked in banking, government contracting, and insurance sales while residing in Reston, Virginia. However, his calling led him to St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia, where he was ordained in 2006. Father Smith has since served in various assignments, most recently at St. Raymond in Springfield, before becoming the pastor of St. John the Evangelist parish in Warrenton. He also serves as chaplain for the Arlington Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and enjoys reading, hiking, and connecting with his parishioners.

Patrick Storey

Headmaster

Mr. Patrick Storey, the new CASTA Headmaster has over two decades of faithful service in Catholic education, Patrick Storey brings a wealth of experience, passion, and leadership to his vocation as an educator. A graduate of Christendom College with a B.A. in Philosophy and a Minor in Theology, Patrick has dedicated his career to forming young minds and hearts in truth, beauty, and goodness.
Since 2002, Patrick has served at Holy Family Academy, where he has taught twenty-eight different courses across grades 6 through 12, covering a wide array of subjects from Theology and Philosophy to Mathematics, Literature, and the Sciences. He currently directs the high school choir, fostering a love for sacred music and liturgical participation.
Patrick is also the founder and current Athletic Director of the school’s thriving sports program, which engages over 70% of the student body in character-building competition. As Dean of Students, he oversees discipline, student life, and day-to-day operations, modeling integrity and stewardship.
Known for his joyful spirit, strong moral compass, and ability to connect with students, Patrick Storey is a cornerstone of any school community—one who leads not only by instruction but by example, always with the goal of cultivating saints and scholars.
